NodalSeismic have recently been using ~3700 SmartSolo nodes to complete an exploration project in the farmlands of Nebraska USA. The IGU-16 is quick and easy to deploy, and with very small footprint, enabled efficient seismic acquisition with minimal impact on this valuable landscape.
Farmers are able to continue working the fields without cables or bulky equipment obstructing their way, and using discrete paint dots, there are no pin flags to get caught in machinery. The reliability and autonomy of the SmartSolo node has eliminated troubleshooting. Less effort and reduced HSE exposure, it makes completing a project of this size possible with a total of just 12 field crew. Durable and simple to use, SmartSolo are helping to make exploration more accessible.
