IRIS SHARE SMARTSOLO USEFUL INFORMATION ON THEIR OFFICIAL DATABASE

Recently, in order to facilitate research organizations and universities to better utilize the potential of the SmartSolo node seismograph, IRIS (Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology) uploaded relevant information to their official database http://ds.iris.edu/NRL. The material includes SmartSolo sensor parameters and instrument response files. This will enable users who apply to use SmartSolo from IRIS to quickly and easily obtain details that will help make their efforts more efficient. The information should also be very useful for those researchers who apply to share data for analysis.

The SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C three-component seismometer is a cableless, lightweight, cost-effective, and highly reliable seismic data acquisition system. Those who use this equipment are mostly well-known scientific research institutions and universities, and the growing number of users are very satisfied with the performance of the equipment. So far, 15,000 stations of SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C have been sold worldwide.
