Qiulitage, known locally as "the place where neither yellow sheep or eagle can reach", was once declared by an American Geophysicist "a restricted area where geophysical exploration is impossible"
Since 1994, geophysical teams from BGP have worked in the mountains many times with limited success, until 2019 when they launched their 14th attempt to explore the restricted area in Qiulitage. This time, with the help of DTCC, BGP launched a successful 3D seismic project, where SmartSolo made the possible.
BGP is one of the world’s leading geophysical companies, and they have entrusted a total of 83,000 channels of SmartSolo® for what many consider the most challenging seismic project in the world!
This article is from SmartSolo (www.smartsolo.com).
