Jan. 3, 2017. Calgary, Canada – DTCC (http://www.DTCC.biz) announced today that Malcolm Greig has joined the firm as the global technical support manager. With 30 years’ experience in seismic exploration, Malcolm was recently Product Manager of AutoSeis, with responsibility for product guidance, technical support, and interfacing between customers and the engineering team. Prior to AutoSeis, Malcolm was at PGS/Geokinetics for 11 years, as Manager of Instrument Support. Along with crew support, Malcolm’s duties included the integration of new technology to the field, and forming a team of instrument supervisors to cover worldwide operations.
Previously he spent 14 years with Seismograph Service, Western Geophysical and Veritas DGC, providing technical support in a total of 15 countries, in a wide variety of different terrain, gaining experience with the installation and support of Sercel and Input/Output recording systems.
Malcolm is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, England, where he read Engineering. He also has a Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Malcolm will be based in Houston, TX.
