A one-time sale of 1000 Stations of SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C creates a new record for the acquisition of three-component node seismographs!

In July 2019 DTCC won the bid for a short-cycle integrated seismograph project called “transparent crust”, requiring an ultra-dense seismic array detection system. This high-profile project is for the Institute of Geophysics, China Seismological Administration. DTCC will deliver 1,000 stations of SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C three-component smart seismic sensors to enable a timely start to this notable scientific exploration.

The SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C provides consistent and reliable results at low cost, and since being introduced in 2018, has been successfully applied to many research and production projects worldwide. The collaboration agreement reached with the Institute of Geophysics of the China Seismological Administration has made possible the first transaction of 1000 stations of SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C. This has also become an important milestone for SmartSolo conducting business in non-oilfield projects. It is expected that SmartSolo three-component products will be used to accelerate and augment the transformation of scientific research efforts and achievements.
